'Getting Back on Track'   by Ann Lewis

Ann says... "When things go wrong for you at work, where do you start? You will want to do something, anything to change the situation.  However, responding effectively when you're off balance is as difficult as feeling your way round a strange place in the dark.  Getting Back on Track is a self-coaching guide for those tough times, with lots of stories from real people who have been there, survived and thrived.  It gives you 7 steps to getting yourself back on track from work setbacks, reducing the emotional damage and minimising the chance of future derailment"

As I read this book, I found that I kept recognising scenarios and stories.  The exercises Ann has included are simple yet really effective.  As you read this self-coaching book you realise that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that we as individuals are really in control of our choices and decisions.  This book if full of gems and an absolute delight to read.  The quote that I will be drawing on is "There's a time and a place where you are the best fit... but that can change, so be aware of it and consider how to manage it"

If you read one book this month then this should be it!
